I didn’t sit still after the world championship cyclocross. Two days later I rode the new final of the Tour of Flanders with Tom Boonen and Iljo Keisse. Later I flew to Mallorca, where the weather was great and so I had several good trainings.
The plan was to start in two stages of the Mallorca Challenge, but finally I started in only one race. I didn’t feel so good during the race, but I was satisfied. I flew from Mallorca to Zurich and to Oman. Tomorrow I will start there in the Tour of Oman.
I have not big personal amibition there, because the uphill finish at Green Hill is extremely hard for me. But I will try to help Tom Boonen win a sprint stage and our team goal is also to help Rigoberto Uran, who should fight for the general classification.
If there will be some chance, I will try to make some good result in a stage. I think this is a great race before the spring classics. After Oman I will ride also the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne and Paris-Nice.
