After winning stage three Peter Sagan also took the fourth stage in the Eneco Tour. Zdenek finished in the peloton both times, but it was a close call today. “I nearly crashed in the last two kilometers. It was close.”
“We had a nice stage today with cobbles, short climbs and narrow roads. Sometimes it was quiet dangerous too. There was a breakaway of 5 guys, but it was under control. In the final it was still dangerous with all the attacks and small groups riding away, but at the end we got a sprint.”
Before that sprint Zdenek almost crashed. “A guy of Orica went into the ground and I could just avoid him, but I ran into a mirror of a parked car. My arm is a bit swollen now, but it’s ok. I feel pretty ok, so I’m looking forward to the weekend.”
