Zdenik finished the prologue of the Czech Cycling Tour road race in Olomouc in 18th place. His Telenet-Fidea teammate Kevin Pauwels finished second.
"It was a solid start to the race. The gap was not too big and I know there were two turns where I lost some time because I didn't want to take any risks. I didn't want fall because important stages are still to come, especially on Saturday in the mountains,“ Styby said.
