Our World Champion, Zdenek Stybar returned to Belgium on Tuesday following three weeks of training camps. “Despite the beautiful weather and hard training, including the Mortirolo on Sunday, I’m looking forward to getting back to Belgium, Essen and Ine. Three weeks is a long time, even for a rider.”
After the earlier injury to his backside, Zdenek was curious to see how the training camp would go. “I was able to train more than the original plan called for. Next week we’re going to Slovakia for another stage race. The aim is to get in some more training, but if I can ride a good GC then I’ll definitely go for it”
