Zdenek Stybar got back from Prague on Monday, trained with Steven De Jongh on Tuesday, made an appearance on a Belgian TV show Wednesday and will race in Tabor Thursday before taking on weekend races in Zonhoven and the Koppenberg. As you can see, our World Champion is busy this week.
“That's right, I promised to do the cross in Tabor awhile ago, but it got a bit hectic with the TV show taping.”
“I go for the win in every race, and Tabor is no exception. So 8 for 8 is a possibility, but I won't mind if Simunek wins since the race is for his father.”
“Tabor will always have a special place in my heart. My dream came true here in January. I became World Champion in my home country with all the Czech and Belgian supporters there. Definitely two countries where cyclocross is extremely popular.”
Niels Albert has also decided to add Tabor to his race calendar.
