Styby makes it difficult for Albert in Hoogstraten

The second race of the Superprestige was suppose to be a fast race, but the rain made the track a lot harder. The victory went to Niels Albert, but our Styby was very close.

Our man took a great start again and rode after two laps in the front together with Albert. The two rode away from the others, where only Sven Nys could made the difference. More than a third place wasn’t possible for the Belgian champion.

The fight for the first place was a lot more exciting. Albert took the lead after thirty minutes, but the champion didn’t rode out of Styby’s sight. Our Czech never loosed more than then seconds, but was not able to close the gap completely.

Albert won, Styby finished second again. Albert also takes the lead in the Superprestige, before Nys and Zdenek. "Second place is not bad", our hero told after the race. “After the start we had to change our tires and Albert took some advantage. It was pity that I couldn’t close it."

"I am happy because I had a hard week on Mallorca. I didn’t know what to expect today, but the legs were very good. Now I look forward to next week, when I will ride the next World Cup race in Nommay."
