Styby can only follow in the eighth stage

After the third stage Peter Sagan also won the eight stage of the Tour de Suisse. Styby saw it happen on the front row, but was unfortunately at his limit. "I could not do anything."

The last real stage took the riders after a trip to Liechtenstein and Austria to Switzerland again. In Schaffhausen the fast men would sprint for the first time, but it didn’t came so far.

"The first 100 km it rained a lot", Zdenek starts his story. "It was very cold. I was pretty tired before the start so I suffered again all day. The average was also very high."

And 30 km before the end there was a climb of third category. "A group of 32 men drove away there. And I was there. But: I couldn’t do more than sitting at the wheel. I was very sorry that I wasn’t able to help my teammate Gerald Ciolek." Zdenek finished as 21st.

Tomorrow an individual time trial over 32 km ends the Tour de Suisse. "A good training for the Czech time trail Championship next Wednesday. But first I have to see to recover well for tomorrow."
