Great results of Styby continue. After wins in Hasselt and Hamme-Zogge in last weekend he won prestigious World Cup race in Koksijde today!
Zdenek beat Sven Nys in the sprint and he celebrated win in World Cup race after more than two years. Last one came in Kalmthout in October 21 2007. „It is great to win World Cup race again. Especially here in Koksijde,“ said Styby.
He won the sprint again, he started on the road part from the first place. „I had to try it, when I did it in previous races. I left there all power, but the feelings are great. It is very good for my head, because Koksijde will host World Championships in 2012 and these track with a lot of sand is very specific. If you are making mistakes, you can lost a minute in one round. So I am very happy, it is one of the hardest race of the year.“
